While performing an energy audit, it is often necessary to perform certain measurements in order to establish relevant parameters that are used in further analysis. Measuring instruments (such as different types of temperature and humidity meters, thermal camera, exhaust gas analyzers, fluid flow meters, light intensity meters and so on) are used for that purpose.
Ministry of Economy in cooperation with German International Cooperation (GIZ) provided two sets of specialized equipment for performing energy audits. The equipment is primarily intended for performing energy audits in public sector buildings.
