As a part of the info campaign, Info Centers for energy efficiency were opened in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje, Info Center for energy efficiency in Podgorica is located at the following address: Ulica Svetozara Markovića 17. The center is opened in cooperation between the capital city Podgorica and the GIZ regional project “Strengthening the capacities for energy management in cities”. In adition, Info center for energy efficiency was opened in Bijelo Polje (Ul. Slobode No. 6, Faculty for management). This event is a continuation of cooperation between GIZ and the Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.
In addition, Info offices for energy efficiency in Montenegro began to work on 25.05.2010. Offices were opened in cooperation between the Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and the GIZ. The above mentioned Central event in Bijelo Polje also marked the beginning of work of info offices in Zabljak, Rozaje and Plav.
The main idea of this project is promotion of energy efficiency in Montenegrin municipalities through the existing network of business centers at disposal of the Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises. In addition to info offices in Zabljak, Rozaje and Plav, four info offices for energy efficiency were opened within the existing Regional business centers (Niksic, Berane, Cetinje and Bijelo Polje).
