The Ministry of Economy announces a
PUBLIC CALL
public call to dealers/installers and contractors on the implementation of energy efficiency measures in households for participation in the program “Energy efficient home”.
The program “Energy Efficient Home” aims to establish an attractive and sustainable financial mechanism for providing interest-free loans to households for the purchase and installation of biomass heating systems (pellets and briquettes), installation of thermal insulation on the facade of the residential building and for the installation of energy efficient facade carpentry.
Dealers/installers of biomass heating equipment and all construction companies interested in participating in the “Energy Efficient Home” program can obtain tender documents upon request sent to e-mail: info@ee-me.org.
The bidder is obliged to indicate in his request his contact details for further communication for the purpose of this call.
Deadline for submission of bids in the Public call is 13.09.2018.
For the implementation of the program “Energy efficient home”, the Ministry of Economy will allocate 120,000 euros, and the citizens will be able to take a interest-free loan of up to 8,000 euros, with a maximum repayment period of up to 6 years, and within this amount they have opted for one or more energy efficiency measures available within the program.
The objective of the “Energy Efficient Home” program is to offer households in Montenegro, through interest-free loans, the possibility of achieving economic and energy savings using the biomass heating system and financing works on improving the energy performance of the buildings envelope.
The program “Energy Efficient Home” is a continuation of the “Energy Wood” program, which has been implemented by the Ministry of Economy in three phases since 2013, and within which about 1.010 heating systems for pellets and briquettes are installed throughout Montenegro.
