The National Council for Sustainable Development of the Government of Montenegro (NSOR), the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Mining and the Municipality of Pljevlja organized an event called “The Second Dialogue for a Just Transition in Montenegro” which was held on March 4, 2024, in the Hotel “Pljevlja” in Pljevlja.
As part of this event, and on the occasion of celebrating the World Energy Efficiency Day, the Ministry of Energy and Mining organized a promotional event during which promotional material was distributed to the citizens of Pljevlja, including brochures with tips for increasing energy efficiency in the household and LED light bulbs.
This event was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of implementing energy efficiency measures in households, which contributes to increasing comfort and reducing negative impacts on the environment. The Ministry of Energy and Mining is committed to promoting energy efficiency through comprehensive public campaigns, with the aim of raising citizens’ awareness of this important topic. The success of this promotional event, the importance of energy efficiency, and the awareness of our citizens is also confirmed with fact that within just half an hour, 300 LED light bulbs and the entire promotional material that our Ministry intended for this occasion were distributed.
