Mini energy efficiency festival was held in the Innovative Entrepreneurial Center Tehnopolis

On 12 June 2017 a mini energy efficiency festival was organized by the Prona Foundation in the Innovative Entrepreneurial Center Tehnopolis in Niksic. The event was attended by about 50 participants from the economic and academic sector, as well as students from elementary school "Mileva Lajovic Lalatovic", elementary school "Olga Golovic", and High School of Economics and Hospitality.


The first part of the event was held at the Multimedia Room of the Innovative Entrepreneurial Center Tehnopolis where the participants in the introductory part were greeted by Jasna Perovic Bajovic, the representative of the Prona Foundation, Ratko Batakovic, Executive Director of Tehnopolis and Zivko Kecojevic, Manager of the Municipality of Niksic.


The following participants had presentations at the event:

  • Bozidar Pavlovic, representative of the Directorate for Energy Efficiency in the Ministry of Economy, who presented energy efficiency projects and certain measures that the Ministry is implementing in order to use energy more sustainably;
  • Veselin Vucurovic, founder and director of Fontis Sol, who spoke about the production of electricity and heat from renewable sources;
  • Ljiljana Stojovic, representative of Alter Modus, a microcredit institution, who presented the campaign "Your energy improvement", as well as the benefits of the clients when it comes to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and
  • Stefan Djordan, representative of Tangenta, who spoke about the application of frequency regulators in flow regulation.

In the second part of the event, an exhibition was held where different exhibits and experiments were presented to the participants. The festival is completed with a short quiz for pupils.


The aim of this event is to draw the attention of the public to the importance of energy efficiency connecting the economic, academic and civil sectors, with a special emphasis on students as the strength of the future.
